Abstract:
This paper is concerned with the asymptotic feature of a discrete second-order fuzzy difference equation (FDE) with quadratic term. Specifically, using a generalization of division (g-division) of fuzzy numbers, we study the boundedness, persistence, and global behavior of a positive fuzzy solution of the following model $$ x_{n+1}=A+\frac{Bx_{n}^2}{x_{n-1}^2},\ \ n=0,1,\cdots ,$$ where $A, B$ and initial values $x_0$ and $x_{-1}$ are positive fuzzy numbers. Moreover, two examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the results obtained.
